Experience

Marlies has worked for Meijburg & Co’s Tax Knowledge Center (TKC) since 2007, prior to which she worked in the general advisory practice. Before joining Meijburg & Co, she was head of the Tax Insurance Law department of a large international actuarial consultancy firm. Marlies was responsible for setting up a database on tax, legal, insurance, and pension information. In 2000, she won an award for the best knowledge management within the KPMG organization.

She lectures on partnerships, commercial partnerships, limited partnerships, and private limited liability companies for the professional Notarial training course (Beroepsopleiding Notariaat) and is a permanent contributor to the professional journals NTFR and Fiscaal Tijdschrift Vermogen.

Marlies is a member of the tax knowledge groups Insurance Products, Pensions, Estate Planning, Principal Residence, and Divorce.

She is also a participant in the VIIP (Women in Institutional Pensions) and WIFS (Women in Financial Services) networks, and was a member of the board of the Stichting Studentenhuis Meer & Vaart.
