Digital roundtable on BEPS 2.0

We would like to invite you to the next edition of our digital roundtable on BEPS 2.0 which will take place on Monday, May 17th between 16:00 – 17:30h CET.

As you may be aware, after the publication of the OECD’s Pillar One (new taxing rights for the market jurisdictions) and Pillar Two (global minimum taxation) blueprints in October last year, there have been various relevant developments. To fill the gap while we anxiously wait for the next milestone, which is expected to be in mid 2021 when the OECD/G20 Inclusive Framework aims at reaching consensus on Pillar One and Pillar Two, we would like to invite you for our webcast to discuss these recent developments and their possible impact on reaching consensus. As part of this webcast, there will be a 60 minutes panel discussion during which the following aspects will be discussed:

Key highlights of the “Made In America Tax Plan” and Senator Wyden’s framework for overhauling US international taxation – Speaker: Michael Plowgian (KPMG US, Head of International Tax Policy at Washington National Tax)

Impact of the US proposals and framework from a European perspective –
Speaker: Vinod Kalloe (KPMG Meijburg, Head of International Tax Policy and former European Commission official).

As a follow-up to the panel discussion, we will provide a brief demonstration of the tools developed by KPMG for assessing the potential impact of the Pillar One & Two proposals – Speakers: Charlotte Straatman (KPMG Meijburg, Senior Manager in Transfer Pricing) and Martijn de Kleermaeker (KPMG Meijburg, Senior Manager in International Tax).

The webcast will be held in English via Microsoft Teams, which will be recorded and shared with the participants afterwards.

This webcast on May 17th is part of a two series webcast. A follow up webcast will be held shortly after the abovementioned OECD/G20 Inclusive Framework meeting of mid-2021.
