Cees has extensive international experience, including two secondments at KPMG Indonesia and KPMG Japan. He is involved in advising clients located in Asia, in particular Indonesia and Japan. Cees advises on the structuring of investments in the Netherlands and also on investing through the Netherlands in other countries. He is involved in advising Dutch resident subsidiaries of foreign investors, and also assists in coordinating the provision of services in respect of specialist areas, such as customs duties, transfer pricing, VAT, and payroll tax. Cees also assists American clients and clients resident in Europe, as well as charitable organizations. He is a member of the Japan Desk, and of the knowledge groups Avoidance of Double Taxation and Leasing. He is also on the EMEA Steering Committee Global Japanese Practice KPMG.
