Across the world, tax authorities are acknowledging the increased importance of Transfer Pricing with transparency and substance being key elements for the OECD in this respect. The OECD has recently updated the OECD Transfer Pricing guidelines, with new/updated guidance on, for example, intercompany services, intangibles and business restructurings. More and more countries are putting Transfer Pricing regulations in place or are updating existing regulations. As a consequence, national Transfer Pricing regulations are becoming stricter: the Tax Authorities request extensive Transfer Pricing documentation and can impose penalties if the requirements are not met. The recent developments of the OECD / G-20 Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (“BEPS”) initiative are, for a significant part, related to Transfer Pricing topics. In order to share these recent developments with you, we are organizing a Transfer Pricing training course at our offices in Amstelveen on April 9, 2018.
During the training, the following topics will be discussed:
- TP methods (CUP, Resale Price method, Cost Plus, TNMM and Profit Split);
- TP Documentation requirements;
- TP aspect of the OECD BEPS initiatives (for example, country-by country reporting and the importance of substance);
- Intra-group services / Headquarter services;
- Transfer Pricing aspects of loans and guarantees; and,
- Transfer Pricing planning, including principal structures, central IP, central purchasing, etc.
