Meijburg & Co is a professional partnership focusing on tax advice by tax advisors. Meijburg & Co was incorporated in 1939 by Willem Meijburg, at that time a tax inspector with the Dutch tax authorities, and was one of the first tax advisory firms in the Netherlands. The idea to set up a tax advisory firm was partly at the instigation of Pieter Klijnveld, one of the co-founders of Klynveld Kraayenhof & Co Accountants (a predecessor of today’s KPMG). The resolve, entrepreneurship and perseverance of Meijburg and Klijnveld still continue to characterize the services of Meijburg & Co.
As an independent member firm in KPMG’s worldwide network, Meijburg & Co has developed a strong international presence. KPMG is active in 153 countries in the area of Audit, Advisory and Tax.

Meijburg Legal was incorporated in 2016 and, just like Meijburg & Co, is an independent member firm in the international KPMG network. Meijburg Legal is a professional partnership focusing on providing legal services by lawyers and civil-law notaries. Meijburg Legal advises and assists companies in the field of corporate law in the broadest sense.
