Alexander Zegers
With a background in computer science and mathematics, supplemented with 15+ years of experience tax processes, tax risks and tax management, Alexander has a unique mixture of tax and technology knowledge which is essential to successfully make technology work for the tax function.
One of his key competences is to bring the worlds of tax and technology together and turn tax data into value using technology solutions. Furthermore, he was the lead architect oof KPMG’s Global Tax Data Management capability (‘Data Ecosystem’) as part of the Digital Gateway Tax Technology platform.
From July 2016 until July 2019 Alexander was seconded to KPMG China (based in Hong Kong) where he was the Regional Leader for Tax Technology in the Asia Pacific Region. In this role he provided strategic leadership to accelerate the evolution of tax technology services in the Asia Pacific Region. Alexander leads the Tax Technology practice for KPMG Meijburg (NL) and is the co-lead for Technology & Transformation in Global Indirect Tax Services (GITS).
