Franklin Hundscheid
Franklin is a partner in KPMG Meijburg & Co’s Transfer Pricing & Value Chain Management practice. He has 20 years of professional experience in transfer pricing, valuations, corporate income tax and tax accounting.
Prior to joining the Transfer Pricing Services practice in 2011, Franklin worked as an auditor at KPMG for nine years. He was involved in audit engagements at both multinational and national enterprises. Drawing on his background, Franklin also undertakes tax accounting projects.
Franklin frequently works with European and US multinational businesses. The services he offers include conducting transfer pricing and value chain management analyses, developing transfer pricing strategies, preparing documentation, performing tax valuation analyses and providing other economic tax advisory services and implementation assistance. Franklin also has vast experience in business restructurings, negotiating Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs) with tax authorities, tax audits and competent authority matters.
Franklin’s experience covers a wide range of industries, including high-tech and technology, logistics and shipping, chemicals, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), manufacturing, fashion, pharmaceuticals and building and construction.
Franklin has a master’s degree in Tax Law from Leiden University and a master’s degree in Accounting & Control/Economics from VU University in Amsterdam. He also has a post-academic qualification in Accountancy.
Franklin taught Transfer Pricing & Value Chain Management lecturer at Leiden University for three years.
He is member of the Dutch Association of Tax Lawyers.
