Harrie is an experienced tax specialist who joined Meijburg in 1990. He has an impressive 35 years of tax experience. His areas of specialization include tax compliance, international tax law, personal income tax and corporate income tax. Harrie mainly advises a wide array of companies in the port of Rotterdam, the maritime shipping and offshore industries; from advice on wind park installations in the North Sea to gas exploration off the coast of Africa. In addition to this, he focuses on the most northwestern and most southeastern parts of Europe (Island and Turkey).
Harrie is known for his pragmatic approach and strong analytical skills, which makes him a valued advisor. He is proud of having won cases before the Courts of Appeal and the Dutch Supreme Court, which underscore his expertise and dedication.
Besides his work at Meijburg, Harrie is a member of the Tax Committee of the Royal Association of Netherlands Shipowners, where he uses his expertise and experience to assist the maritime shipping industry.
