Khalid Abdullah

Khalid specializes in VAT, excise duties, consumption tax, environmental taxes, Customs and trade law. He is also involved with related cross‑border taxes and charges, such as the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).

Khalid has extensive experience in providing strategic advice, helping with compliance, dispute resolution and litigating for companies involved with cross-border commercial activities. He has developed a practical approach, with an eye for detail and finding constructive ways to solve problems.

In addition to his work at KPMG Meijburg & Co, Khalid lectures at Maastricht University. He is a permanent author for a leading professional journal on Customs matters, excise duties, VAT and other cross-border taxes.
