Maurits has a rich history at Meijburg, re-joining the company in 2024 after having previously been a member of the transfer pricing team from 2015 through 2019. With more than 12 years’ experience in the tax field, including three years at the Dutch tax authorities, he specializes in Tax Management Consulting, In this context, he focuses on technology & data management, the ruling practice (BAPA/APA), and transfer pricing documentation. In 2017 and 2018 Maurits worked for KPMG in London, where he focused on value chain management work.
His main activities include providing OECD CbCR compliance and advice on qualifying CbCR in the context of Pillar 2 and EU public CbCR. Maurits mainly works for large multinationals in need of in‑depth expertise in the area of transfer pricing and compliance.
Maurits’ strengths as specialist are his unique experience from having worked in both the advisory practice and at the Dutch tax authorities, thus enabling him to provide practical and feasible advice about the implementation of transfer pricing. He is proud of the combined advice he provided to a retail client regarding transfer pricing, VAT and Customs in more than 20 countries, as well as his involvement with numerous VCM projects for a Japanese multinational and his role as secretary of the GTPS Executive Committee.
