Onno Blankestijn

Onno has been a tax advisor at Meijburg since 2013. His clients operate in various sectors, such as the financial and property sectors. Since 2013 Onno has been a member of Meijburg’s Mergers & Acquisitions ("M&A") tax team and in this capacity has provided tax assistance in numerous transactions. He has been involved in various large-scale and medium-sized transactions, where he advised on deal support and structuring. Onno is also a member of Meijburg’s Real Estate Group and as co-leader of the M&A Tax | Real Estate group has been involved in various buy and sell transactions in the real estate sector.
Onno specializes in complex international tax issues arising from cross-border transactions conducted by multinationals and investment funds, where his international experience serves him well. His international experience was gained in part from his secondment to KPMG Meijburg Caribbean on Curaçao, the Netherlands Antilles, and also to KPMG US in New York. In 2017 Onno was a member of Meijburg’s Netherlands Tax Center located in New York.
