Werner Gelderblom

As Head of VAT Professional Services, Werner helps national and international clients with extremely complex VAT issues. His focus is on practical and sound solutions. As a member of the Tax Controversy & Litigation team, Werner also has extensive experience with assisting in discussions with the Dutch tax authorities and in litigating.

He also gives internal and external courses to keep employees and clients up to date on VAT and deepen their knowledge of VAT matters. He derives satisfaction from quickly and carefully interpreting the practical consequences of new policy and case law.

Werner is a permanent annotator and commentator at NLFiscal and regularly publishes articles in professional journals. Before he became a tax specialist, Werner graduated cum laude in Latin literature. That background helps him to understand in detail the sometimes impenetrable legal texts.
