Friday, October 20, 2023 we will organize a webcast ‘CESOP – getting ready for implementation’.
The Central Electronic System of Payment information (“CESOP”) will launch soon. Payment service providers will have to provide details on cross-border payments to CESOP, which should enable tax authorities to detect potential VAT fraud. The envisaged effective date of January 1, 2024 is fast approaching. The scope of the rules is wide and besides those that fall under the more common definition of payment service provider, may have direct implications for others operating in the e-commerce market and even for financial institutions that do not process transactions that are subject to VAT.
During the webcast, we would like to:

• inform you about the possibility of taking out CESOP insurance.
