We are excited to invite you to our European transfer pricing webinar on financial transactions, including treasury centres and cash pooling arrangements, taking place on May 15, 2025.

Following the release of Chapter X on financial transactions, as included in the OECD’s Transfer Pricing Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and Tax Administrations, along with some notable court cases, we have seen significant developments across Europe. In particular, tax authorities are focusing in detail on treasury centres and cash pools, including the substance of such locations, with local transfer pricing guidance being updated and published, placing additional focus on the treatment of these transfer pricing arrangements.

We have extensive experience with the transfer pricing challenges that multinational businesses have with respect to financial transactions, including treasury centres and cash pooling arrangements. Therefore, we are hosting a comprehensive 1-hour webinar where our experts from the Netherlands, Germany, Luxemburg and the United Kingdom will offer practical insights and strategic guidance for navigating this evolving landscape.

What to Expect: treasury centres and cashing pooling arrangements; an ever changing landscape

  • An overview of the current interest rate environment and some of the challenges we are seeing multinational enterprises experience.

  • Overview of treasury centres and how economic substance is approached in local European jurisdictions.

  • Approaches to pricing cash pooling arrangements; focusing on pricing transactions, sharing economic benefits and the related reward for treasury centres.

  • Common focus areas we are seeing from tax authorities with respect to treasury centres and cash pooling arrangements.

We will be joined by our colleages Igor Zinger, Hendrik Hansen, and Marc Oliver Birmans
