Erik Velthuizen

Erik has been a tax advisor for more than 25 years. He joined Meijburg & Co in 1994, becoming a partner in 2007.

In 1999/2000, Erik worked at KPMG’s office in Silicon Valley, USA. Many of his clients are US multinationals.

Between 2001 and 2004 Erik was a part-time lecturer at Tilburg University’s Fiscal Institute.

During his time as head of the Chinese tax practice in the Rotterdam/The Hague region, Erik advised a large number of Chinese companies on investing in the Netherlands.

Erik graduated with a degree in Fiscal Economics from Erasmus University and a degree in Tax Law from Tilburg University.

On October 1, 2022 Erik became the new chair of the Managing Board of KPMG Meijburg.
