As an all-round tax advisor, Bernard has extensive experience in the international tax practice that includes cross-border transactions, tax accounting and compliance, mergers, acquisitions, and international reorganizations. Next to this, he supports companies in developing internal tax strategy and policies to enhance good corporate governance and to meet evolving and future new requirements related to tax transparency of multinational companies. Bernard is member of the Global KPMG IMPACT network, and the Netherlands country lead for KPMG’s Tax Impact Reporting services. In addition, he is Head of KPMG Meijburg & Co’s French desk and Head of our International Taxation Knowledge Group.  Bernard joined Meijburg & Co in 2004. Since 2008, he is a lecturer at the Université Paris Dauphine in France.

Marc specializes in resolving tax disputes about permanent establishments, transfer pricing, supply chain issues, business restructuring (carve-outs and integrations) and financing instruments. He has been in the lead in resolving multiple tax disputes, either by reaching compromises and bringing objections and appeals to successful completion, or by securing APAs and MAPs for clients and by navigating them through the arbitration process.

Roel is working in the international corporate tax practice in the Netherlands, advising MNEs on corporate taxes and international tax law. Roel’s tax knowledge and experience is broad and he has been involved in international tax structuring, renewable energy investments, business restructuring and IP transfers, insolvency restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, tax controversy and tax ruling projects. Roel is a member of the International Tax knowledge group and the Withholding Tax knowledge group. Recently Roel also joined the Tax Sustainability practice of KPMG Meijburg & Co and has experience with the EU green deal, grants and incentives and other ESG tax topics. Roel focuses on the Chemical Industry and his clients are mainly located in the US, the Netherlands and the UK.
